Co-Creando and o2italia present the top entries in the international sustainable design competition BEER BOTTLES nei luoghi pubblici. The competition is part of a research project to tackle social and environmental degradation due to glass bottles being left and broken in the public meeting areas of Milan and many other cities. The competition focused on the Colonne di San Lorenzo area in Milan. 120 projects were submitted from different countries and an international jury of design and sustainability experts selected the best creative solutions developed through the design of new scenarios, products and services.

WORKSHOP | Empowering Micro Enterprises, System Reload London, London Design Festival

he workshop will explore the empowerment of micro-enterprises and industry clusters in developing countries, with the focus on creating multi-actor initiatives and networks of relationships. The workshop is part of the System Relaod London event that will take place during The London Design Festival 2008. It is developed in collaboration with o2italia.

The Innovation C.I.R.C.U.S. project is part of the PRO INNO Europe, a new initiative of the European Commission Directorate General Enterprise and Industry. The project aims to make innovation known to the public, to identify innovators and to compare different European experiences from Berlin (Germany), Copenhagen (Denmark), Milan (Italy) and Riga (Latvia).
